ROBERTO SONCIN GEROMETTA

Roberto Soncin Gerometta
contributes to the marketing efforts of some of the leading U.S. travel companies. He also works on assignment for editorial and corporate clients and is represented worldwide by Getty Images and Alamy.

His photography was also featured in Seasons of the Vineyard, a portrait of the Robert Mondavi Winery and its contributions to the wine and food culture of California’s Napa Valley.

Born in Venice, Italy, he completed classic studies at the University of Padua, where he received a Doctorate in Law. After practicing law in Italy for seven years, he realized that photography was his true calling, and he abandoned law to become a full-time photographer.

Passionate about traveling, and with his camera always in hand, Soncin Gerometta’s wanderings eventually brought him to San Francisco, where he now resides. “I wouldn’t want to live anywhere too far from the water,” he says.

Soncin Gerometta’s photograps have been exhibited at the San Francisco international Airport,
Arte Italia Museum of Reno, Nevada, the Museo Italo Americano in San Francisco and the Yale University Art Gallery.

His e-book "My Venice," a personal photographic portrait of his birthplace, is available in Apple's iTunes bookstore My Venice - Roberto Soncin Gerometta together with the companion app "Magical Venice"Magical Venice - ShineApps
